Coronavirus Update 2

We are still at work but have decided to postpone all face to face meetings until the government gives the go ahead to loosen the current restrictions.

Our phone lines and email are operating as normal so far and we will do our best to keep it this way in order to minimize disruption.

If you have any questions regarding the help available from the government in the form of grants, loans, deferment of VAT and PAYE, help with 80% of salaries etc. your first point of information are the following websites:

https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/coronavirus-business-support-to-launch-from-today

At the moment the most up to date situation is changing constantly so you need to keep re-checking the websites for the latest updates.

The details of who qualifies for any financial assistance and how to apply are still vague at the moment.

If you are still struggling with the information or have a question that isn’t covered in the above sites Adele Woods can be contacted by email aw@hca.org.uk or on the main office number 01942 734455.

Take care of yourself and your loved ones.

Paul Bannister

If you’d like to know how we can help you with this, or with anything else, feel free to phone 01942 734455 or email me at pb@hca.org.uk

Paul has been engaged in the accounting profession since 1988 after leaving the University of Manchester with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science & Accounting. He qualified with Price Waterhouse Coopers in 1991. After a successful period in industry and a spell working in a local firm of Chartered Accountants, Paul decided to go it alone and established Haywards in 1994. In his spare time, Paul enjoys going to the gym, running, learning guitar and tormenting his Jack Russell, Arnie, and his Jackapoo, Stig. Along with his daughter (his wife hates football!), Paul is also a keen, but distressed, Wigan Athletic fan.
